GAC XT80 Makes Its Saudi Debut with Strong Off-Road Capability

The new GAC XT80 has made its first appearance in Saudi Arabia, introducing a new option in the rugged SUV segment with a distinctive boxy design and a plug-in hybrid powertrain focused on performance and versatility.

The XT80 features an advanced hybrid system producing nearly 740 horsepower, combined with four-wheel drive and up to 990 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, delivering strong performance for a large SUV designed with off-road driving in mind.

Its hybrid powertrain provides a total driving range of more than 1,000 km, making the XT80 suitable for longer journeys as well as everyday driving. The vehicle also supports fast charging and can supply up to 6 kW of external power for electrical equipment.

Off-road capability is enhanced by a four-wheel-drive system with three differential locks and air suspension. The XT80 also offers a water-wading depth of up to 700 mm, allowing it to tackle a variety of challenging terrain.

Inside, the XT80 combines practicality with premium features, including Nappa leather upholstery, a 540-degree panoramic viewing system, automatic parking assistance, and advanced active noise cancellation. Cargo capacity reaches approximately 905 liters, providing generous storage space for longer trips and outdoor activities.

With its combination of hybrid performance, dedicated off-road technologies, and modern interior equipment, the GAC XT80 adds a distinctive new option to the SUV segment. Further details regarding its official Saudi launch, available variants, and pricing are expected to be announced later.
